I bought this rod for a laundry room where we plan to put a utility tub. It just fits in the space between two doors. I got it because it was Kohler and because it was heavily discounted as "used" or returned to warehouse deals. It is not "my style" as I prefer modern and sleek. This is a transitional or traditional look, but well worth the regular price as it is solid, handsome and quality.

We have Kelston faucets and did not know there were accessories that were available. We got on Amazon and found this Towel Bar. Very study and matches the faucets. No complaints at all. Excellent quality.

Organize It All Metro Towel Rack

(#1 REVIEWER)This a simple modern looking towel rack which is sized 11.6" depth x 24.4" width x 29.5" height.

I am attaching several photos showing an empty rack as well as a rack with a bath towel. The stock photo has a small towel which might make it appear larger than it is. I am also attaching a photo of a unpackaged box, as the box surprised me by its small size. The box shows the weight of the box and that the product was made in Taiwan.

The rack is chrome colored, some parts of it are plastic (like end caps) silver in color. The rack is very light, lighter than other chrome items I have in my bathroom. The parts do make metal noise when they clank so it is not all plastic, but rather very thin tubing of chrome. Never the less when it was put together it felt reasonably sturdy. I could make it flex if I pushed on one corner, but it did not warble in regular use.

The rack went together amazingly easy. I needed no tools. I just twisted all the parts together as shown on instructions and everything fit easily and perfectly. It took me less than 10 minutes. I am attaching a photo of instruction page as it gives a good idea of what is involved.

I liked

1) I liked the style

2) I liked the depth and the fact that the bars are even (I can use it as a "shelve" when I need a flat surface in the bathroom)

3) I was very impressed with how easy it was put to together and how well everything fit together

I did not like

1) Nothing really, other than I cannot speak to longevity of materials as I only had it for a few days.

Overall, good looking towel rack that makes my bathroom look better than the old one. I recommend it.

I ordered this rack because I moved into an apartment that doesn't have a towel bar within reach of the shower. This serves the purpose. I read the reviews of the product and noted the "flimsy" or "fragile" construction. So here's a factual approach. The rack is easy to assemble; no tools required. The cross pieces (there are 4 horizontal at the top and several at the bottom) are spot welded in two places. The cross pieces do not penetrate into the members they abut. This means that the cross pieces simply touch that part and are spot welded to it.

If the rack flexes much at all from side-to-side, these spot welds are going to crack and the cross pieces will then come loose and eventually fall out. Since I have no children at home, we can be careful when placing towels on the rack, and side-to-side flexing will not be a problem. I can imagine other families, however, where it will be.

This is a classic case of getting what you pay for. The rack has a simple design and is inexpensive, two of my favorite qualities. It was also easy to assemble. However, the posts are so lightweight that they lack stability, making for a flimsy feel overall. The feet, weird plug things that don't fit snugly into the posts and fall out every time I lift the rack, are especially annoying. (I may try gluing them in place.) The bottom line is that the rack kind of qualifies as junk, but I still like its looks...and, to be fair, it hold towels. I'm keeping it because we don't have frequent overnight guests. If we needed it for more regular use, I'd either return or donate it.

My mother needed this rack in her senior apt. for extra space for towels when she has company occassionaly. It is nice looking, and a perfect size for her bathroom. I would not recommend it for a family that would use it daily heavy use, but for a guest bathroom it is great.

I was concerned the bar might not include the parts needed to install it (screws, etc.) but it came with everything we needed, and we installed with zero problems. Exactly what I wanted!

Don't be like me and just try to install this towel bar as if it were any old piece of hardware. I drilled 1/16th inch pilot holes for the included screws; when I went to screw in the screws using an electric driver it shortly ripped the heads off the screws, leaving their decapitated metallic corpses embedded in my cabinet door. Oy! I finally read the directions: they say to drill a larger size pilot hole (7/64th inch). So if you are going to buy this towel bar follow the directions!

I have to wonder though, with such cheap screws would I have ended up running into trouble down the road? It cost me less than a dollar to get 4 stainless steel screws at my local hardware store and I suggest you do the same. Otherwise, it's not a bad towel bar for the price.

There's not enough space between the wall and rack to insert or remove your towel with ease. The bar is not rounded which also makes it difficult to remove your towels. If you have cheap and worn towels, then no problem.

I don't use this for a towel rod. Instead, I have 3 on the wall in my laundry room, each one about 15 inches above the other. I use them to hang all of the trigger spray bottles of cleaning products. I can hook the trigger over the rod, and each 12" rod fits about 5 to 6 spray bottles. Keeps everything organized and easily accessible, and it frees up shelf space for other items.

I was so glad to see these were available on Amazon, because I had worn myself out trying to find them in a local store. Years ago, you could find these in any store, but now everyone is limited to stocking fancy towel racks that are much to big for my needs. I just wanted something simple to put on the interior of the cabinet doors under the sink. Nothing fancy because no one will see them and small enough to be unobtrusive. This fits the bill nicely.

This owl lotion pump is very cute, but it's really too difficult to use. We use it for decoration because it's almost impossible to fill with soap or lotion.

this soap dispenser is fun, but a little weird. the whole top is connected by a giant spring and to dispense the soap you have to push the whole top down. when i recieved it the spring had been bent so the top of my dispenser is cockeyed. and it doesnt open from the bottom or anything, so the only way to fill it is to pull the dispenser tube out, hold the top down, and dump in soap, aiming really well of course. and it also doesnt have a very large resevuor, you depending on how much you wash you hands you may have to refill it often.

The good: It's cute, it didn't leak onto the counter, it arrived quickly.

The very, very bad: To be fair, this is labeled as a lotion pump, & we used it for dish soap. However, it leeches something awful smelling into the dish soap, which has caused us to stop using it. I imagine that it probably leeches into anything contained in it, which is pretty disturbing. Whether eating if off my dishes or absorbing it through my skin, I try to limit my intake of nasty chemicals.

Also, it was very difficult to refill. You must have small, strong fingers to get the screw top out of the owl's head. & one of the eyes fell off within just a few months of normal, non-abusive use.

Sonia S3 Open Towel bar 124688

Because this collection does not have a toilet paper holder, this is sold as, and we use it for, that purpose. It looks wrong, out of proportion. We also have the Sonia S3 ring style hand towel holder, and the double bath towel bars. They certainly look good, but, for the price, are not a value. Had we not needed the double style bar we would have purchased something else.

I ordered this on the strength of the several top reviews. It came quickly and is very nice looking. It fits over the door very well and the price is reasonable. I thought it would be perfect. But here in rural Alaska, even our summer fall coats are heavy and this design is deficient. The hooks pull down until they are horizontal with a couple of Carhart coats on it. If the base plate that supports the hooks was wider, came down 2 times farther below the hooks it MIGHT be better. Otherwise the thin metal suspension straps are probably too thin and allow the base plate to torque down. So, for hanging light wt clothes and a couple hats, this is a dandy unit. But if you want to hang several medium to heavier coats, Keep looking. Regretfully, this one isn't quite sturdy enough. I'll have to move it to a bedroom door for light wt stuff.

I work overseas and live in dorm-style housing. I have this hanging over my locker door and use almost every hook for something towel, lounge clothes, robe, jacket, etc. This is a very sturdy coat rack for just a piece of metal that hangs over the door. It seems like if anything is going to give out it will be the locker door first :-).

Love this coat rack, it's a little pricier in terms of over the door racks but it's sturdy and NOT cheap looking. I also love how the ends of the hooks are a bit thicker so they don't hurt my coats (especially the leather). The double hooks ends are far enough apart so you can hang clothes on both ends without them being too bulky and without falling off.

This is well-made and does exactly what it is designed to do: hold towels. The finish has lasted and looks as good as new (I've had it for some time now). I recommend this product.

I like this towel bar because it's smoothly finished and not flimsy. There are no projections and no wasted space -the whole bar is available for use.

Two features that I like are there is a bit of plastic or some kind of padding stuck to the hook as padding so the tops of the cabinet door that the bar is hung on is not against metal.

The second feature I like is there are holes drilled on the side of the hook so that you can put a screw through it to anchor the towel bar to the cabinet door. I haven't screwed it in place so sometimes, if I'm not careful, I do pull the bar off the cabinet door. I also use the bar as a 'handle' to open the cabinet door.

I'm very happy I purchased this. It it much nicer having the towel right by the sink where you need it and it no longer falls off the oven door when I open it!! I hated having to pick my towel up off the floor everytime I opened my oven door!! This solves that problem. However, it does need to be mounted on my cabinet doors with screws b/c it slides around & sometimes falls off the door. But, as soon as I get it mounted correctly, it will be perfect!!

Looks great in my granite/cherry/stainless kitchen. The chrome finish is not an exact match for brushed stainless, but since it is used below the counter most people won't notice. My drawer top is nice and square, and exactly 1" thick, so this fit perfectly. Some people who have rounded cabinet drawers may have problems. The hook has holes on the back side -once I secured it in placed with wood screws it works beautifully. The screws are optional, but about once a week I'd knock the hook off the drawer, so to avoid that I added screws. So nice to have a towel within easy reach! Best $8 I've spent in the kitchen (next to my $5 Plastic Filter Cone #4 Large coffee maker (colors may vary) drip coffee cone.

I bought this after not finding one of these at Home Depot that fit my cupboards and still looked nice. I was extremely pleased with this purchase.

First off, the price cannot be beat anywhere, especially for the look and design of this quality item.

**MEASUREMENT OF THE INSIDE OF THE HANGER: EXACTLY 3/4". The hanger part is padded with a thin but sturdy black foam, which will protect your cupboards from scratches (it works, I've run in to this thing multiple times). The measurement is the inside of the foam. If you were to squish the foam, say to force it onto a wider cupboard door, you'd gain maybe 1/16".

The construction of this towel bar seems very sturdy. I've actually accidentally closed it in the hinged side of my cupboard before and it bent the hanger parts a tad, but didn't seem to effect its usefulness or break anything.

The color is more of a matte black, with the slightest bit of shine.

I find I catch my pants on it here and there if I walk too close to it, and it has left a small bruise more than once but not because of poor design, just because I'm a clutz.

I can actually hang three towels on this if needed, 1 on each hook, and 1 on the bar. I'm very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it.

FLIP FLOP beach WALL ART HOOKS robe towel rack set 3

I bought these resin sandal hooks to attach to my backyard fence for my girls to hang their pool towels. The colors are very vibrant and my guests love how they look but the hooks are a bit flimsy. The towel hooks are attached to the "sandal" with two screws that arent secured well to it and there is really no way to tightly secure the entire sandal to the fence so the bottom of it swings freely. A better design would be to add two hangers on the back instead of just one at the top.

We put these up in our bathroom, and they are ADORABLE! We get lots of compliments from friends that come over, and living by the beach, they are just perfect.

The one complaint I did have was that they're not terribly sturdy you have to be careful when hanging / removing towels, otherwise they'll slip off the wall screw mount. Also, you can only hang one towel per sandal because the hook is thin and bends pretty easily under any significant weight. But that hasn't been an issue for us.

All in all, they look great, and they have been working suitably for our purpose!

Wood Linen Cabinet

Easy enough to assemble.. Very poorly engineered. The holes that you glue dowels into are over sized and sloppy. The top arced section has damaged surface: prior to painting. Upper doors can't line up, they are slightly different sizes and there is NO provision for adjustment or alignment. The hinges do not have counter-sink holes but, the screws provided are flat head so they don't screw down flush (should have round or pan head screws for hinges). The threaded holes in the knobs are also over sized, you can not tighten properly because the screws slip but don't strip.

This item is not worth the $92.95 cost (a "$157.00 savings"). You can find better Chinese furnishings at Kmart and probably save a couple of bucks! -Larry

This cabinet is actually two small cabinets sitting on top of each other. To insure that the top cabinet will not fall or tip over you have to insert 4 short dowels 2 on each side that causes the cabinet cabinet be VERY wobbly and unstable. The wood cheap solid wood that cracked when we screws the supplied hinges. There is also a very strong chemical odor from the paint they used the is actually noxious.

Too bad my wife threw away the box other I'd have returned it back by now.

Be careful if you ordered a tall cabinet and it comes in a 3' tall box.

I've learned my lesson.

I was very disappointed with all of the hardware that came with the cabinet. None of the knobs worked. I Ended up having to go to a hardware store to get new knobs. The screws that hold the hinges were also striped or were not the right size. The doors do not hang correctly. I checked on line and on my receipt to see if there was a customer service phone number. I couldn't find one. I was very disapointed.

Not happy with cabinet for 2 reasons. First reason is, there were way too many pieces to put together and the directions stunk. I prefer to read step by step what pieces go where and not just by looking at pictures. To me looking at pictures take longer. And because of the pictures I missed putting the connector strip in between the boards on the back of the cabinet and had to take the cabinet apart to put them in. This was not easy to do when the directions show to use glue on the dowel rods. If there had been step by step instructions I probably wouldn't have had to go through all that trouble.

The second and most important reason is, The description of the cabinet "says white bathroom linen cabinet" which is misleading. In the picture it looks as though it is bright white but it's not. It is more of an off white or cream color. When I put the cabinet next to my white washer and dryer, it looks dirty or like it had dulled over years. But it is brand new. Now, instead of having the cabinet in the room I wanted it in, I put it in another so it wouldn't look so bad.

Other then that, the cabinet is good for extra storage.

Huge mistake. The "wood" is super cheap composite like cardboard with a coating over it. It comes in so many little pieces I had to hire a handyman to assemble. The dowels do not hold the parts together, too short, not even with the extra screws my guy added -it still sways when you touch it and I know when move someday it will fall apart. It was impossible to align the pieces properly. The back wall is several pieces of small cardboard-ish stuff (instead of one piece that would help with stability) which keep falling down. The supports for the shelves are extra short (extra cheap) so they keep falling out. The holes on the vertical sides are not aligned right so one of my shelves is slanted and there's nothing I can do. Some hardware was missing from the box so I had to buy extra. This is a ridiculous piece of junk with some good styling to lure you in. I see the price is down from the $300 I paid to $220-240. Doesn't matter. STAY AWAY!!!!

This is sturdy & attractive, but almost black in color. At first glance, it looks like cast iron. The pictures on Amazon look more like antique brass, which is what I wanted. Good price & well made, but only buy if you want close to black.

This does exactly what it should do. It is darker than a typical rubbed bronze finish but works just fine all the same. For install you do need a tiny eyeglass sized flat head screw driver to mount it so make sure you have one handy.

I hear looking good starts before you even get dressed. So I picked up six rolls of this fancy black toilet paper to wipe my pre-party bottom in STYLE. It felt like sliding down one of those ritzy velvet ropes they put outside bars I'm not allowed into -only without the friction burns and horrified strangers.

The only problem was when I cut myself shaving, and used little bits of the paper to stop the bleeding. When I showed up at the party, everyone I met thought I had face leprosy and ran away screaming. Soon, it was just down to just me and the velvet ropes by the coat check stand.

We moved into a new house and needed hooks in the bathrooms for robes and pajamas. The hanger is bulkier than it looks. Also it is made for 1 3/4 inch thick doors, and mine (most) doors are 1 3/8 inches thick. I used felt strips cut to fit between the hanger and the door and placed on the hook side of the hanger, otherwise the door would not close. This gives the hanger a snug fit. Personally, I would look for the right door thickness in the future.

I was looking for an over-the-door hook that would be able to fit alongside my over-the-door ironing board and found this one. Very pleased with my purchase I ended up buying two more (for closet doors that are of unconventionally small widths and won't accommodate conventional-sized over-the-door hooks). The bronze color is very pretty, too.

I bought this to put over a plywood door while in Afghanistan. I used in day in and day out to hang my uniforms when I got off duty. It fit nicely over the plywood door and never caused me any problems. I passed it on to the girl how replaced me, and I'll probably buy another one to put in my house.

This are a nice way to add hanging hooks to your door without having to drill into it. It has a nice look and construction. The only con I see is that they are meant for pretty thick doors, so the move at a little angle if they don't fit they have extra space, and that might make the door have a tiny bit more resistance when closing it. Overall, pretty good product.

I was impressed with the quality of this over the door rack. It is well made, heavy, & nice looking. It looks more expensive than it was! The only thing I would change would be to make the hooks just a little further apart, but this is only a minor thing. It is well worth the money & appears that it will last for a long time. Would recommend.
