These hooks are smaller than you might expect, but they work very well. Fortunately I planned to put them on a narrow wall space so they worked out perfectly. If the wall was larger I might want to opt for slightly larger hooks. However, the overall size does not interfere with function. Robes, large bath towels, any type of apparel hang without slipping off. The mechanism by which they attach to the wall makes it easy to install.
