A little disappointed in this product.It was promoted as fab German design..and yes it is German, but not so fabulous.
This Leifheit model was very similar to an older style one we had previously, but with some definite down sides.
Firstly, quite difficult to pull apart to replace the rolls. Certainly wouldn't expect any teens in the house to be able to do it easily,without prior instruction, and therefore I can see this gadget may have a short life!
Also, the worst feature is that to get the gladwrap or foil,you have to pull very evenly over a very sharp serrated surface..if you don't hold the wrap evenly it tears off and gets jammed.
Also,it is easy to catch your fingers on the sharp serrated edge.
Our previous model had a sliding cutter,which meant that you just slid it across the wrap,and never came in contact with the sharp edge.

I've just bought this Roll Holder. It was no Manual Assembly required in the box. I've called to the company and ask them to send the manual to me, but they do not have it at all. Had it since December...it's so not worth it...I never change the foil because I'm scared I'm going to cut my fingers...I always ask my husband to change the foil and he even has a hard time & he's a construction contractor...this is not simple @ all...I wish that I never threw my old fashion wooden one away : ( NOT EVEN 1 STAR BUT I HAD 2 PUT SOMETHING...Want Leifheit 03001 ProLine Wall-Mounted Roll Holder Discount?
It isn't the best but it's fine for me.Easy to assemble and install, not so easy to use. Don't need a manual (it's simple).
