NOTE! YOU CANNOT use it with the above mentioned model.

I assume it is only for NX, SX, HX & MX (and again, NOT the one mentioned above).

Beware! This adapter does NOT work with the "iTouchless Stainless-Steel Hands-Free 13-Gallon Infrared Automatic Trash Can" even though they come up together as being "Frequently Bought Together" and "Related Products".

I understand that iTouchless wants to make money, that's ok. But this adapter is mostly just a generic AC/DC adapter with a 6 V DC output and a 500 mA rating. It's a positive tip. You can get any adapter that fits that spec (or even with higher Amp rating is fine, just keep it at 6 V), it would work just fine, and you can pay a lot less.

Also, the complaints about the lack of connector on the trashcan...well, check your trashcan first. Some iTouchless models do not accept AC input, only batteries. If you don't see a receptacle, it doesn't take an adapter input.

I purchased an NX/SX Model Touchless Trashcan for the kitchen to make it easier for my granddaughters to use it. Since I have pets, an open trash can is an open invitation for disaster. My granddaughters loved it so much that I was having to change the batteries every three days. (My floors were spotless, because they would try to find anything to throw away.) The AC Power Adaptor has cut down on battery usage and works exactly as promised.
