InterDesign York Metal Over the Shower Door 3-Bar Towel Rack, Split Finish

InterDesign York Metal Over the Shower Door 3-Bar Towel Rack, Split FinishIn my opinion this is not worth the price. Maybe, maybe i would buy it for half, but not likely. The product is easy to put together, but way to small for bath towels. Might work for hand towels. The length is way to short and width is way to narrow. I have to fold my towels in half to get them to fit and I use average size bath towels not bath sheets. The top rung can not be reached if hanging on the back of a door. So, I sugget saving your money.

The name of this item is a bit misleading. It's called an over the SHOWER door rack, but really it's just an ordinary over the door rack. Disappointing for 2 reasons: the hangers at the top are much wider than needed for a shower door, so it hangs a bit awkwardly; and there should be some rubber stoppers where the rack rests on the door to protect the glass from scratches.

I love the simple design, but the rungs need to be spaced further apart do towels can hang and still dry,

I bought this thing because we have only have one very small bathroom and are expecting a child and need more than one towel rack. It's ok....but it's crooked. If I had gotten it at walmart or target I would have returned it. Since I ordered it online, I don't want to bother shipping it back, so I am dealing with it.

It's does what it's supposed to do (hang towels) but it would look a lot nicer if it was straight. It's hooks are also a bit big for the hollow core bathroom door we have so it slides up and down the door whenever you pull a towel off, and it bangs against the door if you pull your towel forward rather than sideways (we have a pretty good sized crack at between the door jamb and the top of the door, so nothing to keep it from moving around). I am going to have to find something rubbery to put on it to keep it from sliding around. It has holes in the hooks but I really don't want to put holes in my door just to keep a cheap rack from moving around.

For the price, this unit is pretty darn good! Does it have flaws? Yes. Am I expecting perfection for this price? No.

The unit is chrome, the end caps on the towel bars are a brushed nickel look. The unit looks pretty good. I easlity holds three towels, it takes some work to hold three bath sheets but it's doable in a couple of minutes.

The few flaws I found were that it does need the little padded dots placed where the bar at the bottom contacts the door as it can bounce and rub if the door is moved quickly or slammed. It would be nice if there were more space outward away from each successive towel bar as it is, bath sheets folded to fit will touch each other and may not dry properly. The over the door portion is large, as it needs to be to fit many differing doors so that may require some felt bits as well. Having these felt bits included would be nice.

Overall, we like it and would purchase it again.
