I have this upstairs in the powder room. I use paper towels for guests so I don't have to worry about my kids sharing a hand towel with guests especially during cold and flu season.It is also nice to have a sturdy and easy to grab roll of paper towels for messes in other parts of the house. Being able to take the whole roll of paper towels to the mess is so convenient.
The roll of paper towels fit over the plastic handles. I like that there are no complicated mechanisms and nothing to take apart just pinch the handles together and slip the roll over the handles release and the handles open holding the roll in place.
Some Michael Graves items are not well made but this one is solid, well designed and executed; it also looks really good.
