I have had this paper towel holder for about a year. It was fine until one of the rubber ball tips broke off. The slit in the ball widened, and it falls off all the time. This was an annoyance, but I just put the ball back one. Now the second ball has fallen off as well, and unfortunately it got lost. I wonder why they didn't use some type of adhesive to keep the tips attached? Needless to say, I'm on Amazon shopping for a new paper towel holder.
I liked the modern look and price of this dispenser so ordered it even though some reviews were critical about how well it kept the paper towel roll in place. We mounted it under the cabinet without any problem at all (despite my reservations at the tiny little screws and flimsy wall anchors, which we didn't use, it came with). I have torn off a multitude of paper towels by now and not once as the roll slipped from the dispenser. Plus, it looks great with my new trend towards stainless steel kitchen accessories.

This product matches our kitchen, but it doesn't hold the roll. When I go to pull off a sheet of paper towel I get multiple sheets, and usually the roll falls off.

Easy to install.. Great product keeps the towels just tight enough so they dont fall out and loose enough so it has no issues when u pull on it.. Comes with screws but i rather use my own better quality screws..

We had one of these for several months, not more than 12 months.
Then the rubber balls failed to stay attached to the holder.
We end up buying another brand paper towel holder, which has not held up well either.
We are going to try the SimpleHuman brand... A friend has had one for the past 7 years w/o fail.
