Moen DN8418 18" Towel Bar from the Preston Collection,

Moen DN8418CH Inspirations 18-Inch Towel Bar, ChromeThe escutcheon plates are wide so make sure you have extra room (22" or so I'd guess) otherwise light and easy to install.

This item is well made. I bought three of these to install in a bathroom remodel. This was a small bathroom so I had to trim them to different sizes. You can trim them best with a small, inexpensive copper pipe cutter. Just mark the spot and start with a slight pressure. Tighten it slowly and spin it around a couple of times. Repeat this several times. Don't tighten too much at once as you will bend the bar. You can use the template provided by them when you do this by folding a crease in the center and then taping it. Cut the bar to the dotted lines in the center of bracket locations. Don't use the wall anchors provided because if you're like me, you'll rip them out of the wall. I use the screw in wall anchors -either plastic or metal -and they will never come out.

This towel bar does its job and looks nice doing it. My only complaint is that when I ordered a Moen product I expected that it would be a bit more substantial. It is very light weight chrome coated aluminum, about the feel of something I would buy at Wal-mart. However the price was good, it looks very nice hanging in my bathroom, and does its job (holding a towel) well.

Not too happy with this towel bar. For some reason, it keeps coming off the wall. All the towel bars we've purchased and installed haven't fallen off, but this one....idk. Looks nice, but doesn't do its job.
