For example, the "SimpleHuman" mounted paper-towel dispenser costs twice as much, has a big black knob at the end to screw on and unscrew, has a spring inside, and so on... But all those are things that can break, and are totally unnecessary.

However, *this* paper-towel holder is made up of only two pieces. It's never going to break. It uses the paper towel roll's gravity against the wall to provide enough resistance so you only tear off the piece you need. It accomodates a roll of any size. With the little hook at the end, it makes sure the paper towel roll never slides off accidentally, but rolls are effortless to remove and add. The minimalist metal matches virtually any decor. And finally, it's a normal, reasonable price.

It is, in short, the platonic ideal of a paper towel holder. If only everything else were so simple and reliable. I'm looking at you, toaster ovens!

Having lived for over thirty years with a cheap plastic towel holder that was too small for today's larger rolls, a kitchen redo prompted me to buy this holder. It hangs inside the sink cabinet door and fits beautifully. However, even on public display it has a high quality, low key appearance that avoids the kitchy look of most paper towel holders.

The InterDesign Swivel Wallmount Paper Towel Holder, Brushed Stainless Steel is exactly as described. It is a very understated look but the metal is a very nice quality.

It does comes with two 1-3/4" screws and two hollow wall anchors for drywall installation but I put it under the cabinet so I used shorter 3/4" screws. I did need to drill two holes in the wood first since the cabinets are sturdy but that was not a problem.

I was delighted to find that a huge roll of paper towels fits very nicely. Not much clearance is needed from the back wall since the towel bar does swing up for easy insertion of the roll.

This is going to be a short and quick review for this product. All in all, this was a great buy for the price paid. It is made of some heavy duty, feel good steel. Commercial grade product here that will last forever. I recommend this product for anyone looking for a real good product. They do not make products like this anymore. I hope this helps anyone out looking to buy this item from Amazon.
