First off, there is nothing in English for instructions, the only thing that can be slightly interpreted are some photos on the box. The white that you see is plastic -very cheap plastic. Mine came discolored with the yellowish look of aged cheap plastic. The thing was next to impossible to put together because there are multiple metal rods that are supposed to set in place between the two sides, but since there's nothing to really grab the rod and hold it in place, they keep falling out by the time you get to the next rods. Finally got it put together albeit shakily. I will say that the suction design that they used is good once you get them tightened. The suction pieces hold well to my mirror. But overall, it looks cheap and the rods are very easily loosened, and then everything comes clanging down to the counter. Another point to make is that it is much larger than it appeared to me in the picture (my mistake for not double-checking that). Make sure you look at the dimensions before you decide to take a chance on this item. After the disappointment, I ordered and have already received a different (free-standing) towel rack from Amazon that suits us much better, so I took the Suction Cup Shelf Rack down and chalked it up to a poor investment. Sorry -I don't enjoy giving bad reviews, but sometimes I feel I need to.

Gatco 4350 Charlotte 3/4-Inch Diameter Towel Bar, 24-Inch, Chrome

I bought the Gatco 4350 chrome 24" towel bar as lower cost alternative to the Hansgrohe 6098 (at $30, it's half the price). It's been in use for 13 months now, still looks great, no corrosion, still solidly mounted. I actually like it better than the Hansgrohe because it protrudes a little more so it's easier to put the towel on or take it off (we have one of each towel bar to compare). I'm very satisfied! I will probably go with another Gatco for the other bathroom.

This is a great looking paper towel holder, but the vertical post is flimsy. It is not a stable connection at the base and therefore the vertical post wobbles as you pull the papertowels. I don't expect this to last very long...I hope I am wrong.

Things that are bad about this product:

1. It's hard to tear the towels. It requires you to tear the towels from bottom up...very awkward...especially if you have dishes and plates on the table.

2. The gripper is not strong enough resulting in you pulling out more towels and snagging the towels in the gripper. You then have to manually fix it. This happens alot.

3. Takes a long time for a sheet to come out. First, the unit retracts the paper, then it slides it out out sheet. Often, it doesn't measure it right and you have to manually fix it. Defeats the purpose of this unit which is to save you work.

4. The hand sensor is wacky. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I end up feeling foolishing waving my hand all over the places trying to get it to see me.

Overall, this is a waste of money and time. I'm definitely sending this one back.

I was really excited to find this product on the web so I bought one with the power adapter. As soon as the item arrived, though, the disappointment started. It always dispensed too much towel no matter it was set to half or full size. For the first sheet it went beyond for about an inch, and an additional inch for each sheet thereafter and quickly became unusable. I contacted the tech support but they didn't know how to tune/fix it so I returned the item for an exchange. The new replacement came after about 2 weeks and did EXAXTLY the same. I'm confused to see some reviewers actually "enjoyed" the thing ... maybe some units actually dispense the towel accurately? For me it has been a total waste of time and I'm returning this one for a refund.

The product was difficult to operate from the start. The paper towels were difficult to tear off, because you had to tear off from bottom to top. If you tear from top to bottom, you have to remove the towels and reset the machine. This wasn't the bad part. Half the time the sensor didn't work until the third or fouth time, and that's not the bad part. It quit working completely after just two months. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

This seemed like a good idea at the time, but...it works rather slowly so you stand with dripping hands or worse waiting for a towel. Some things just dont need improvement and the paper towel holder might just be one of them.

Saw this on HGTV and couldn't resist. This paper towel dispenser works exactly as advertised unrolling one or one half sheet at a time, depending on the type of towels you use and the setting (it reads the perforated lines). The only caveat is to place it in an area that is not one that you reach into for other things as it activates easily. It really is hands free and all you do is tear the towel off. Towels will not unroll, nor will they be contaminated by handling. It's easy to set up and use and anyone can do it. I love it.

What can I say? It's a paper towel holder BUT a handsome one at that, and one that keeps more counter space free for those of us who don't have much to spare. :) The brass color looks greatand will really blend in with a variety of different kitchen stylesesp, if it has more of a rustic or French country feel. Be aware that there is only one post attached to the wall. I'm not sure why I didn't notice that (even though it is clearly displayed in the picture) but was kind of disappointed when I got it home. Honestly now that it is up and functioning I don't notice the one post but I figure it's worth mentioning for those (like me) who may be shopping quickly. Heck it actually makes changing out paper towel rolls a lot easier when you get down to it!

installed it under kitchen cabinet. Put two screws (my own. The supplied screws were too long for my cabinet's thickness) into the wood and it was done. Its build is solid and heavy. Worth the money.

I had a hard time finding a nice looking wall-mounted paper towel holder for my bronze fixture kitchen. The color of this one is very nice, and it looks good mounted on the wall (make SURE you use the drywall anchors or it will be wobbly, I had to re-do it). Once you actually put a roll on it, it is more or less unnoticeable though. Which is better than a silver or white holder sticking out like a sore thumb, I guess, so I'll take what I can get. Put some thought into which direction to mount it. The small end cap on the open end doesn't do much to hold the roll on, so if you try to tear the paper towel in the wrong direction, the roll will go flying. Thankfully I anticipated that and positioned accordingly, so it rarely is a problem. Still, it would be nicer if the end cap was considerably larger to keep that problem from happening.

Moen DN4986 Towel Ring from the Sienna Collection,

I have had NO problems with this towel holder or the paper holder I purchased. It has held up great! I can't say enough good things about the Sienna line. When I move someday, I want to take it w/ me!! I am a firm believer in attaching things properly. Had I attached this to the wall myself, it would have been knocked down by now. But I had someone who "knew" what they were doing mount both pieces, NOT using the anchors, etc. the units came with. Heavier duty to be on the safe side :)

We had a very tacky looking wooden peg in our half-bath, and this was the perfect remedy. It is very easy to assemble and hang, and is a nice and sturdy towel ring.

One caveat. It is very heavy. If you don't have a stud located where you wish to hang this, make sure you purchase the appropriate anchors to insure that the weight doesn't pull it out of the wall.

Reversible to fit on a right or left hand wall -reversing it requires a slightly smaller allen wrench than provided with the ring, though.

The ring rotates very freely away from the wall, and the towel slides easily off the end if pulled. I have a tendency to leave the towel in the ring while quickly drying my hands, and this results in me slowly pulling fixed, full circle rings off of the wall. I don't expect this to happen with this ring, because if I accidentally pull too hard, the towel comes off the ring (and is really easy to put back), and/or the ring rotates a bit away from the wall.

Very solid construction, and it looks nice in the bathroom. I'm very very happy with this purchase.

The idea is great, but will not hold towels of any decent size.....only if you have thin hotel type towels. I had to return it.

I've had this for about a year now, and have been very happy with this purchase. It has stayed securely on the wall, and shows no signs of age, tarnish, or manufacturing issues. You might have to change the way you fold your towels based on their thickness, but I don't think that is a lot to ask. My bathroom looks very neat and put-together as a result of this rack...guests often comment on how nice the bathroom looks, although lot specifically the towel rack. It certainly factors into the equation however.

InterDesign 44702 Classico Paper Towel Holder

Since we have limited space overall, and even more limited storage space, we are always looking for creative storage ideas. I saw "rods" being sold here on Amazon, that are meant to be mounted inside a bathroom or linen cabinet on the door, upon which one then stacks spare rolls of toilet paper. But the prices that are asked for what is, essentially, just a rod of metal with a screw plate are insane! some are priced as high as $60!!

I figured these would work just as well it's the concept that counts so I ordered two. We installed them (open end pointing up) on the inside of one of the doors of our bathroom vanity....and they work great. Each holds two rolls (which is about what the "specialized" versions hold) so we have storage for four spare rolls of TP (conveniently, stores sell toilet paper rolls in packages of four). This has freed up the horizontal shelves in our bathroom vanity (under the sink) to hold other items that can't be stored any way other than on a shelf (spare towels, etc.).

So while these aren't being used in the way that they're marketed, they are working great and we expect they'll still be doing their job 20 years from now.

This is a sleek little piece of metal that does a great job of holding a roll of paper towels up and out of the way. The picture shows you everything there is to know about it, so don't expect anything more. However, if what you're after is a papertowel holder that looks good and can be mounted either on a wall or under a cabinet, then this might be the product for you. It does indeed either take two hands, or one skilled hand to rip off a paper towel, but that should be expected. All in all, this is has been a great addition to our kitchen and my wife and I are very pleased with it.

I looked high and low for a paper towel holder of a minimal width so I could mount it to the inside of the only cabinet that worked in our space. This fit the bill perfectly. The circular diameter was minimal enough that I could mount it to the cabinet frame (though, I needed to use shorter screws that what came with it) and the arm width was short enough that the door closed. Excellent, simple, solid product and thrilled to have found it.

Char-Broil 4985901 Magneto Magnetized Paper-Towel Holder

I know this is touted as an outdoor grill paper towel holder, but I use it in our kitchen on the side of our black refrigerator and it works great and looks awesome since it blends in!

I use Viva paper towels which are cloth-like and come single-ply on a more slender roll than Bounty or other big brands, so there is room around the roll and they don't unravel without a tug. It holds the roll securely and doesn't shift from the horizontal position I have it in. I am over the moon to not have had to put screws in our cherry cabinets, or take up counter space. This would also look good on a stainless steel fridge with black trim.

This Magneto paper towel holder has finally settled an irritating problem of keeping a roll of paper towels handy in a tight space and busy area of the home. It's a replacement for a crummy magnetic one attached to the side of the washing machine in the laundry room. The magnet of the old one wasn't strong enough to hold it in place and it would frequently come tumbling down. I was looking to try a vertical towel holder and this one couldn't be better. It holds a full roll of paper towels firmly in place, but not so firmly that the strength of Superman is required to reposition it. It doesn't move when a towel is torn off or when it gets bumped. The vertical position is perfect for tight spaces, especially when used with the "cloth-like" paper towel brand that doesn't unroll by itself and hang flapping in the breeze. Highly recommended!

This product sticks to the metal surface and does not move when tearing off a sheet of towel paper. This product is worth every penny I spent for it. Also, it can hold those jumbo rolls of paper towels with no problem. This is the product that you need to buy 2 of just in case the manufacturer changes the design or decides not to make it anymore for whatever reason. If this happens then you will have one availabe for whatever need may come up in the future. Taymor Paper Hand Towel Gift Set

This is a replacement for a hand towel holder that got damaged in a move. It is not as nice as we hoped it would be for a guest bathroom but it will work until we can find something else. It looks rather cheap but will hold towels which I suppose what is designed to do. We were looking for something a little more stylish.

Just a little bit snug for the guest towels that you buy in the store, but it works. The guest towels that come with it are smaller than the ones you would typically find in a retail store. They are also very thin.
