When I ordered this towel rack I anticipated that I would be able to put two folded towels per rack but that is not the case. Still it's perfect for what I need it for. We live in Germany and the bathroom is completely done in tile and there is only one long towel rack and it is across the bathroom and unreachable from the bath tub. Also the tub is positioned next to the door and there's no wall near it to put this towel rack. The towel rack fits behind the bathroom door and is sturdy but light which makes it easy for even my eight year old to maneuver it next to the bathtub so that he can just reach out and take his towel without getting water all over the floor. Overall, I wish it had room for more than three towels, but in saying that, even the lowest tier is high enough to keep an over sized towel off the floor and there's plenty of space between each rack so that the towels don't touch each other, which I like for drying purposes. I love this towel rack!
