This product is very poorly made. Thankfully it is covered up with blankets, otherwise I would never keep it. It's strictly a practical item for us and is definitely not being used for decoration. Furthermore, the directions for assembling it were incorrect, poorly written, and did not make sense. It was very evident that they were written by someone who is not very familiar with English. I knew we were in trouble when I noticed that the box containing the item was from a vendor other than the one from whom I ordered it, and when "Enterprises" was spelled with three "r" letters on the box. To add to it, the rack is definitely more of a brown-bronze color than the picture illustrates.

I would definitely have appreciated better instructions and a better overall product.

So buyer beware!

This is very light weight and easy to put together. There is a center bar that I put my book over to the page I'm on. I have tile floors and it wobble a tiny bit. If you had carpet I am sure it would not wobble.

I agree with the other review. The welding job was NOT done well and not only is it noticeable but it's weak. The bottom bar that runs from one side to the other broke off at the sauder point :( We tried to JB weld it back, but even that didn't hold very long and we are NOT rough on our stuff. Maybe a bump here or there in passing with your foot? I would definitely not recommend this... find another item!

The blanket rack is too pricey for the low quality of the product. The welded sites done to piece the item together are very noticible, not a clean weld at all. However, the welded mess can be easily covered by quilts/throws. The bottom legs do not have pads to protect the rack or wood floors; ok if it going to sit on carpet. The instructions are simple to read; however, its hard to find the clear, tiny labels on the pieces that tell you if the side is "R" (right) or "L" (left). On my rack, the right and left stickers are on the bottom of the side frames. It will be easier to find these first, right and left, because you have to line up the holes. Otherwise you will spend too much time trying to puy it together. Again, the quality of the product could have been better for the price I paid, $60. But the design and color is perfect for my taste.
