Kohler K-11372 Sculpted 30" Towel Bar from the Forte Collection,

The photos of the Forte sculpted towel bars look very nice but we got some 24" and 30" ones for our new master bathroom and they all have problems with the connection between the main section of the rod and the end pieces. None of them have the nice continuous smooth curve you see in the photos. They all have little gaps at the joints that I expect to snag things like terry towels. Maybe it's how our contractor did the installation, but one is even bent a little at one end (they're going to replace it). I haven't used these as towel rods yet, if they snag as much as I expect then I'll be looking for a replacement fairly soon.

The Forte collection is a very sleek and nice design. The quality of Kohler is evident in the weight of the product and the ease of installation. I was a bit frustrated when I went to Home Depot as they didn't have a good selection of this brand/style. They did have an 18" towel bar but that was it and I needed the 30", 18", towel holder and toiler paper holder. Amazon had them all and in-stock. The installation couldn't have been easier as there is a template on the back of each package that shows where to drill the holes. The kit also comes with all the screws and anchors necessary for any type of installation. The best part is I ordered on Monday and received on Wednesday free with my Prime account. Can't beat the selection or convenience and got them all installed in less than 1/2 hour.

The connection between the rod and the ends is poorly designed. The fit is so loose that if you sneeze on it, the rod falls down. I don't think this is due to the way it was installed because the issue seems to be linked to the fact that there is a little piece at the end of the rod that is supposed to hold everything together by extending into the wall end pieces, but this piece is tiny and prefers instead to snuggle inside the rod. I do not recommend this product.

The metal bar is cheaply made and not as well made as I would have thought. The metal itself is very thin

I bought based upon the brand name it turned out it was no better than the cheaper unknown
