InterDesign Classico Over the Shower Door Towel Rack

This is actually a really nice towel holder. It's sturdy and fits on my shower door perfectly with its 2-inch-deep hook. I would have rated 5 if not for the screws.

Two screws came already screwed to each of the bars, and their sockets (I'm not sure what they are called, but the "+"-shaped dents on top of screws) were TINY. I have two screwdrivers, both of them are standard size (2pt), but they barely fit. The screwdriver kept sliding or popping out because the dents were too shallow/small. I almost entirely reshaped one of the screws' dent and thought I wouldn't be able to unscrew the thing to assemble the rack.

Luckily, I got it to work after trying for 10 minutes, but otherwise, I would have had one less bar to hold my towels, leaving the rack unshapely. Unscrewing, not screwing, was the problem in my case, so I think if they would just not screw them to the bars too hard (or leave the screws in a separate bag), this wouldn't have been a problem.

Anyway, other than this trouble of disassembling the parts in the beginning (in order to assemble, ironically), everything was fine. Overall, it's a very good product, especially for the price.

The design is a good idea and may work for others. And the price is relatively low.

For me, it didn't work. The towel rack had to be bent slightly to get it to fit flat along the door. The brackets are 2" deep which are too big for any of my interior doors... I wish sellers would include this information! There are holes on the top and back of the brackets which would allow you to secure it to the door. Like most over the door items, I can not shut my door while this is in place. To get it to work, I would have to shave off some of the door.

This item looks nice, but is of such poor quality I would not recommend anyone to purchase it. I had to put it together upon arrival, and the screws were already in the pre-drilled holes. This would not normally be a problem, except that four of the screws had been overtightened so now they are stripped and are useless. I have to use zip-ties to hold it together, just so I can get some use out of it. If I get motivated I may try some epoxy, but in all likelihood this product will find its way to the trash can. I give it 2-stars, rather than one, simply because it has the potential to look nice if it can actually be assembled properly out of the box.

it is smaller than I expected but that is my fault for not paying attention to the measurements. I wish it was a little more heavy duty but it serves its purpose
