The stripes are crooked! I'm talking blatantly crooked like they didn't even attempt to line them up. They are nice material, but if you're a meticulous person then these are NOT for you. They are so crooked that I almost can't believe they would sell them. Please leave a comment if you would enjoy having place mats with crooked lines.
They are beautiful fabric, The quality is there and is the exact color I had been looking for. I would definitely recommend.

i received these placemats and immediately fell in love. i knew i had found THE placemats. little did i know how much they were about to improve my life. i'm a bit of a messy eater, you see, so i was pretty ecstatic that these could just be thrown in the washer following a big spaghetti mess...and since they're microfiber, they came out spotless. all of them. i don't even know how i got spaghetti mess on 4 placemats. anyway, so then one day, i had them in the washer. a silly roommate decided to make some oatmeal and, wouldn't ya know it, set the hot bowl DIRECTLY onto the table... it left a couple of nasty burn scars. BUT my placemats are clean again and in their proper places and have hidden these scars well. i can already tell my table is feeling better about itself.
