Charmin Extender Adaptador (For Mega Rolls) (WHITE)

I purchased this roll extender from a hardware store last year at about half the cost and no shipping charges. It is essentially a piece of plastic with a spring inside and doesn't warrant a premium price tag. Other than that, I'm very happy with it. It shows no sign of wearing out of breaking. It holds and dispenses the largest rolls of TP with ease so it lives up to its claims. It is also less expensive than buying a dedicated dispenser so that is a plus. If you want to retro-fit your standard TP dispenser to hold mega rolls for your mega business, then this and the silver version are pretty much your only option. I also have a Taymor Combo Toilet Paper Holder in another bathroom that works quite nicely and stores about 4 rolls as well.

I loved the two that I was able to get free from Charmin, but needed another one for my powder room. It is the perfect size for the new larger rolls.

If this review looks familiar, it's because I bought two different versions of this product, one silver, one white.

I was really excited to find this product because the new mega rolls of TP are too big for the standard holders in my apartment.

Unfortunately, the Extender Adapter doesn't really work as I'd expected. When first installed, it does extend the core roller so that it prevents the roll from banging into the wall or cabinet on which the holder is mounted, but there's nothing to hold it in place so it re-positions itself in such a way that the mega-roll reverts to banging into the wall.

If it were glued or fastened into place so that it didn't move then it wouldn't be able to be removed to replace the roll!

I don't know if I've explained this clearly, but I'm not satisfied and would not recommend this for someone who is frustrated with mega rolls being hard to unroll from a standard holder.

This is exactly the product I was looking for to accommodate the new, larger rolls of toilet tissue! At first I was using a stand paper towel holder which was OK, but now having the Extender is much more practical. Thanks so much for this product! I will certainly tell family and friends about this product!
