Over-the-sink Kitchen Counter Dish Rack Organizer, Chrome, 36.5 inches

Cheap materials. Metal finish is painted on. Hardware was loose in the box. If my space wasn't so small I never would have bought this product, but I need all the space I can eek out, and I appear to have no other over the sink alternatives to drying dishes. Disappointed in the lack of plate stacking capability.

Didn't think I could be more disappointed after the last similar one I got that rusted out, but this managed to right out of the box.

first of all the paper towel holder is too low and so the paper towels always get wet from the sink. no good. the whole unit isn't level at all. it sinks into itself in the middle so anything you put on it will slide to the middle. also it looks awesome on the box but not so good in the kitchen cuz its really really not sturdy. i was definitely disappointed :(

I've had this rack for about 5 years now. The bar behind on the bottom was an issue. Made it difficult to clean around the sink faucets. The feet with end-caps eventually needed maintenance. They would start to rust since it was right by the sink's edge but I just cleaned it and wrapped in foil so sink water wouldn't bother it and it DID work well. Its width was great since my sink is 25" wide which leaves the paper towels out of the way of the sink. Easy to exchange paper towels too. The racks on the top held small items anyway. Bowls, cups, and the like. The right side with the tray held nothing fancy. Scrub brush, sponges, drying for small items that don't fit the dish drainer. Slowly rust was creeping up on the bar at the bad bottom so I just took rush removal to clean it. I would seal some areas with clear caulk or hard as nail glue. Lasted a long time. I know you have to mess with it now and then, but I didn't care. It's easy to clean, out of my way, wet items drain thru into the sink. That's why I don't want a wood shelf! It still stands, rust free on my counter.

It is a light weight item. The size is as I expected, and I use it.

Would I recommend it? I don't think so.

This product does not appear to be chrome. The word chrome is not on the package but this is advertised as chrome. It appears to be a thin metal that is spray painted silver grey color. Still can't complain. For the price paid it will serve the purpose. Sprayed it heavily with a satin clear coat sealer to protect from rust.
