Wanted to complement the new SS kitchen appliances, but didn't want what I consider those unyieldly overly mechanical "spring-arm" gadgets. Now this does take a little practice to get the right swipe motion going, but once you've got it down, you're in business
This would look nice if it weren't so cheap. The "brushed nickel" is really just poorly painted black plastic. You can easily see this, as the black plastic shows through in several spots on the poorly painted finish. Straight out of the box, it looks like it has been used and abused for years. I would not recommend, unless you have an old poorly taken care of kitchen and want a paper towel holder to match.
