Wonderful fit! I have two of them. I wear a size large women's glove and this mitt fits my hand correctly. Most mitts are too big on me which makes them hard to use and clumsy. These fit me perfectly. I'd like to give them 5 stars, but I gave them 4 because I wish they were thicker. The heat comes through when I pull out my oven rack when the rack is heavily loaded with 2 French ovens because the weight is pressing through the mitt in just one, narrow place. With other uses, such as taking the French ovens out of the oven, the weight is spread over a larger area of fabric so it works fine and the heat doesn't come through. I need to use something thicker to pull out my heavy oven rack, but I still love these for the fit and comfort for all other kitchen uses. They look nice, are comfortable and are machine washable. I recommend this product.
