Bought this holder for a friend with limited mobility, to replace one with failed spring hinges. As we all know, there is nothing more annoying than something one uses many times a day that does not function well. So, the holder had to work well (not let the whole towel roll pop off), attach under the cabinet to save counter space, be easy to load, and look nice. This holder, with its simple, elegant design, with no moving parts to fail, does all four things very well. Elaborate engineering is not necessary to get the job done. Hard to find this design in stores, so buy it when you find it. Lotsa stars.
