These towel bars look great in my contemporary bathroom, and the price can't be beat. But the quality is mixed. The brackets on the end feel solid and sturdy. However, the rod itself feels like plastic with a metal coating. It looks fine, but it feels flimsy and like it could easily break if I bumped it a little too hard. So far so good, though; I've had them a couple months, and they're still in one piece...

Based upon previous reviews, I was a bit concerned about the strength of the bar. At first looks, it does seem a bit thin. However, it's sturdy metal and holds towels without any problems. It was incredibly easy to install and looks great. My only suggestion to other customers is to be really precise with installing the drywall anchors. If you place them a little too wide, they show from underneath the mounting bracket. Otherwise, it was a great product at a great price with incredibly quick shipping.

I went to go install the towel bar & unless you are in solid framing the towel bar will not be sturdy at all. The bar itself is very poor quality & will bend/deform easily. I ordered 5 & returned all of them. The price looks good but the quality is poor.
